Location: Nairobi, Kenya (or Remote) | Employment Type: Full Time | Salary: KES 150,000 - KES 250,000 per month

We are seeking a skilled Mid-Level React Frontend Developer to join our growing team. In this role, you will help build robust, scalable, and responsive user interfaces that drive engagement within East Africa's rapidly expanding digital economy. You will collaborate closely with product designers and backend engineers to translate complex requirements into clean, performant code.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain responsive, high-quality web applications using React.js and TypeScript.
• Translate UI/UX wireframes and mockups into pixel-perfect, interactive frontend components.
• Optimize web applications for maximum speed, scalability, and cross-browser compatibility.
• Collaborate with backend engineers to integrate RESTful APIs and modern state management.
• Write clean, documented, and reusable code while conducting thorough code reviews.

Qualifications (Required)

• Minimum of 3 years of professional frontend web development experience.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, and modern React.js.
• Solid understanding of state management libraries (e.g., Redux, Context API) and CSS preprocessors.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

Qualifications (Preferred / Desirable)

• Experience with Next.js or server-side rendering (SSR) concepts.
• Familiarity with containerization tools like Docker and modern CI/CD pipelines.
