Junior Full-Stack Engineer (HealthTech)

Role Overview: mPharma is looking for an enthusiastic Junior Full-Stack Engineer to join our tech team in Accra. You will work on various parts of our web and mobile applications that help thousands of pharmacies and patients. This is a great opportunity to gain experience in a fast-growing, mission-driven startup. Responsibilities: - Assist in developing new features using React and Node.js. - Write clean, maintainable code and participate in code reviews. - Help in maintaining and optimizing our MongoDB databases. - Collaborate with UI/UX designers to implement responsive web designs. - Learn about modern cloud-native development and CI/CD. - Contribute to the overall improvement of the codebase and development processes. Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience. - Strong foundation in JavaScript and familiarity with React and Node.js. - Basic understanding of NoSQL databases like MongoDB. - Eagerness to learn and ability to work in a collaborative environment. - Passion for using technology to improve healthcare outcomes. Nice-to-haves: - Internship experience in a tech startup. - Familiarity with TypeScript and modern testing frameworks. - Contributions to open-source software.
