DevOps Engineer (Azure Specialist)

About the role

Role Overview: KCB Group is seeking a DevOps Engineer to help manage and scale our cloud-native banking platform on Microsoft Azure. You will be responsible for building automated pipelines, managing infrastructure as code, and ensuring the reliability of our critical services. Responsibilities: - Manage and monitor Azure cloud infrastructure using Terraform. - Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions. - Implement container orchestration using Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS). - Ensure high availability and disaster recovery for core banking services. - Automate routine infrastructure tasks using Python or Bash scripts. - Collaborate with developers to optimize application deployment and monitoring. - Manage cloud costs and resource utilization. Requirements: - 3-5 years of experience in DevOps or Cloud Engineering. - Strong experience with Microsoft Azure services. - Proficiency in Terraform and infrastructure as code principles. - Deep understanding of Docker and Kubernetes. - Familiarity with CI/CD tools and methodologies. Nice-to-haves: - Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect). - Experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack. - Knowledge of security best practices in the cloud.
